Blimey It Has Been A While

since my last post. Well, for anyone who's interested I'm still a bit poorly. I managed to get sinusitis last week my doctor kindly gave me some antibiotics (bloomin huge things they were) and now I'm left with a hacking cough and sounding like I chain smoke ten cigarettes at the same time!!

So I've just about completed my christmas shopping, which is just as well because James broke up from school last friday and Katie finishes today.

Yesterday I got in my last bit of "Sharon pampering" and had my nails done after which I went to buy my christmas pressie from my other half (and yes I am that perfect a woman that I don't even make him have to think of something and then go out and buy it) so I went to Runnersworld in Rayners Lane as I'm going to start running in the new year and consulted Paul my running guru who advised me to get proper running shoes from a proper running shop so I did!

I have to say they were really friendly and helpful in Runnersworld. The very nice assistant who looked after me checked my feet so she knew exactly how much support I needed and where. I tried on four pairs of shoes and settled on a pair of Brooks Vapor 6 (and yes I know we spell it vapour)

So having bought the present , oh and paid for it (something wrong there!!!) I figure the least he can do is wrap it!

For anyone that's wondering, I buy my own pressie cos that way I know I'm gonna get something I want unlike the set of feather dusters he once bought me as a pressie!!!!
